A Magical Mission

First Floor Fairytale Productions was founded upon the belief that the magic of theatre can be created anywhere. Our staff aims to produce high quality musicals in a somewhat informal setting to discourage competition among students and inspire them to achieve a personal best through the arts. All rehearsals and shows are held in our performance space at 293 Lupine Way, Short Hills NJ. Though it may appear like a normal house, inside is a fully equipped stage with black box flooring, curtains and spotlights. Our set designer Matthew has worked diligently and innovatively to develop a fully functioning theatre in his home, and we are so excited to welcome a group of talented students to utilize it. Through our unique venue, we foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration to ensure that every production is a team effort. When students are not being worked with onstage, they are learning invaluable skills of set design, costume development, production publicity and more. Our program ensures that each child gets the chance to shine, leaving our students proud of the work they've done both on and offstage. We take pride in encouraging students to dream big, and relish in the piece they've created as a team. In educating students about both the outer and inner workings of theatre, we hope to develop the greatest productions possible and inspire our students to believe in the universal magic of theatre.
